I will cover socialization to places, people, dogs, and different environments. This is especially important for puppies, since what they experience early in life will affect them for the rest of their lives. I love to start your puppies on the right path from the beginning - the most critical learning period of a dog’s life is the first six months – this is when he learns the fastest, when he most readily masters new tasks, and when he adapts most readily to new environments.

Dogs of any age or breed are welcome, including dogs that need a specific diet or eat raw, require medication or have a compromised immune system, are intact, are titered, are too young to have all their shots, or any other special circumstances.  I will teach your dog basic life skills and commands, including focus on humans, Sit, Down, Stay, Drop It, Come, Leave It, Relax, Enough, greeting and leash manners, and house manners. I will also work on behavior issues, such as jumping, chewing, housetraining, crate training, and play-biting and impulse control. Puppy Head Start and Intensive Board & Train programs include all of these, plus behavior modification and private lessons to make sure you learn what your dog learned.
